ANIMAL KINGDOM: THE OASIS

Like Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom, The Oasis serves as the official welcoming area to Animal Kingdom. It sets the tone for the rest of the park with lush vegetation and of course, animals. You can see all sorts of wild birds and even a three-toes sloth. There are no real attractions, but you can take care of business here by picking up maps, guides and cash at the ATM. Restrooms, lockers and stroller rentals are also here along with some shops and specialty stores.

One of the more remarkable sites in the Oasis is the Rainforest Café. This famous chain of restaurants has a huge branch in Animal Kingdom that is definitely worth a look
