SEUSS LANDING
ATTRACTION FACT SHEET

This 10-acre whimsical island is the only place in the world where Dr. Seuss' world-famous characters and children's books are brought to life. "Green Eggs and Ham," "The Cat In The Hat" and "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" are all represented. Seuss Landing attractions include the Caro-Seuss-el, the most elaborate carousel ever created including the first rider-activated animated characters.

The Cat In The Hat

Based on Dr. Seuss' most famous book. this ride takes guests on a cleverly chaotic journey through the pages of the popular classic. Up to 1,800 guests per hour travel on six-passenger "couches" through 18 different show scenes, including a revolving, wallpaper-pea rig, perception-altering 24-foot tunnel. Riders experience more than 130 ride effects and 30 animatronic characters, including The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2 and the goldfish who tries to maintain order in the house. Multiple computers control the numerous systems specially developed to bring this ride to life and cutting-edge system control software is utilized for the first time ever.

One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish

This colorful ride allows guests to steer their Seussian-style fish up or down 15-feet in the air as they travel counter-clockwise through a myriad of waterspouts and streams. Guests must listen closely and guide their fish wisely if they wish to stay dry. Three 18-foot tall "squirt posts" douse unsuspecting riders who don't follow along with the special rhyme heard throughout the attraction. Topping off the center pedestal of the ride is an 18.foot tall sculpture of the star belly fish featured in the Dr. Seuss book, "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish." Twelve two-passenger fish, three of each design; are available and a patented load/unload system allows wheelchair assisted guests to enjoy the attraction from their personal chairs.

Caro-Seuss-el

Seven different Seussian characters, totaling 54 mounts, are featured in "the most elaborate carousel ever built." Each of these figures features guest-activated interactive animation, a carousel ride first. Spanning 47-feet in diameter, the Caro-Seuss-el features patented wheelchair loading systems which allow guests to experience the attraction from their personal chairs on a rocking chariot platform. Characters include: Cowfish from "McElligot's Pool; Elephant-birds from "Horton Hatches an Egg;" AquaMop Tops and Twin Camels from "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish;" Dog-a-lopes and Mulligatawnies from "If I Ran the Zoo;" and Birthday Katroo from "Happy Birthday to You."

If I Ran The Zoo

This totally interactive playland tells the story of Gerald McGrew and his quest to create a totally different zoo of strange and unusual animals. If I Ran the Zoo is divided into three distinct areas: Hedges, Water and the New Zoo, and features 19 different interactive elements. Ranging from flying snakes of water which are likely to soak unsuspecting guests to "Toe Tickle" stations where children can tickle the toes of a laughing Seussian animal, these creative play-stations are certain to entertain guests.
