SPLENDID CHINA 

Splendid China is a $100 million Chinese-themed attraction with entertainment, shopping and dining featuring exhibits and displays of more than 60 detailed replications of China's most notable and world-famous historical and cultural landmarks and sites including The Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Leshan Buddha and the Stone Forest.

Conceived as a 10,000 mile journey through 5,000 years of Chinese history and culture. Splendid China is constructed on a 76-acre site of Southwest Orlando, Florida. It offers visitors the combined experience of Chinese heritage, culture, geography architecture and diverse ethnic lifestyles. It includes live entertainment and athletics, fine Chinese restaurants and souvenir merchandise including modern and ancient fashions, works of art, authentic artifacts and contemporary collections running the gamut from statuary to foodstuffs. There is a motion picture introducing viewers to the nation of China, it's history, present status and future, and it's people. For younger visitors there is an area set aside for children's exhibits and play.

The Mysterious Kingdom of the Orient is an 85-minute live stage performance with brilliant Chinese acrobats and dancers in authentic costumes. It is the largest performance of it's kind outside China. This performance is included with your Splendid China admission, or you may buy tickets just for the show.

Now through the end of 1999, with a full priced admission to the park or evening show, you can receive a free meal in the Seven Flavors restaurant. Available from Tues-Sun 4:30 pm to 9pm, includes soup and choice of three entrees.

Location & Hours
The Park is located at 3000 Splendid China Blvd. Kissimmee FL 34747. It's 3 miles west of I-4(exit 25B), one mile west of the Walt Disney World entrance and 5 miles east of US 27.

Splendid China opens daily at 9:30 am. Closing time varies with season.
